Honkai: Star Rail — Your First Two Weeks
Trailblaze Power, what it buys, and why the relic grind should wait longer than you think.
Trailblaze Power is the budget
Trailblaze Power regenerates at 1 point every 6 minutes, to a maximum of 300. That is 240 points per day, or 10 an hour.
Note the mismatch: the cap is 300 but a day only makes 240. You have a comfortable margin — roughly a day and a quarter before anything overflows — so a missed evening costs you nothing.
Once you are at or above the cap, Reserved Trailblaze Power starts filling instead, which is the game's way of not punishing you for a weekend away. It is not unlimited, but it means the penalty for logging off is smaller here than in most games of this shape.
What it buys
Every point spent returns 5 Trailblaze EXP, and Trailblaze Level runs to 70. Past that, EXP converts to Credits at 16:1.
Trailblaze Level is worth watching for a reason beyond the number: it gates Equilibrium Level upgrade missions. Raising Equilibrium makes enemies stronger and their rewards better. Like Genshin's World Level, skipping it leaves you farming a weaker version of the game.
If you need to top up, 1 Fuel gives 60 Trailblaze Power. You can also buy Power with Stellar Jade up to 8 times a day, starting at 50 Jade and climbing with each purchase. That escalation is deliberate — the first refill is reasonable, the eighth is not.
Relics: two systems, not one
There are two kinds and they unlock separately.
Cavern Relics are the four-piece set: Head, Hands, Body, Feet. Planar Ornaments are the other two: Planar Sphere and Link Rope. Both have a main stat and up to four sub-stats depending on rarity.
Relic domains cost 40 Trailblaze Power per run, and you can spend up to 240 at once — six runs — using Immersifiers. Batching like this is the single biggest time-saver in the game, and it is easy to miss because nothing points at it.
The same warning as every game in this genre: relics farmed early get replaced. Put your first weeks of Power into character levels, traces and Credits, where nothing is thrown away.
Warps
The Departure Warp runs for 50 pulls and guarantees one non-promotional 5★ inside them. Pulling in batches takes a 20% discount, so all 50 cost 40 passes rather than 50.
Do the batch. There is no downside and it is a free 10 pulls.
The first fortnight, in order
- Spend Trailblaze Power daily, but do not panic about a missed night — the cap gives you slack.
- Do the Equilibrium upgrade missions as they unlock.
- Batch your relic runs with Immersifiers rather than one at a time.
- Finish the Departure Warp using the 40-pass batch discount.
- Build one team of four properly, including their traces — traces are where most of a character's power actually lives.
Where this comes from
The numbers here were read from these pages on September 5, 2026. Games patch, and a guide is only as current as the last time somebody checked it — so if something below disagrees with what you see in game, the game is right.
