Where the data comes from

Every calculator on this site reads someone else's data, and none of it is official. This page says which source each tool uses, under what licence, and how old the snapshot is — so a number you disagree with can be traced rather than argued about.

What a given calculator deliberately does not count is listed on the tool itself, not here. That belongs next to the number.

WarzoneLoadout builder

Weapon and attachment data compiled from TrueGameData via the CoD Weapon DB (CC BY 4.0), snapshot S3.5 of 25 April 2026. Weapons added since are missing, and the stat values describe that patch rather than today's. Attachment effects are multipliers against the base weapon, combined the way the game combines them — 0.92 recoil and 0.95 recoil come to 0.874, not 0.87.

Dead by DaylightPerk and loadout builder

Perk names and effects are read from the game's own tables via dbd.tricky.lol. Numbers are shown for all three perk tiers, as I/II/III, because a saved build does not record which tier is equipped.

PalworldPassive build calculator

Passive names and effect values are datamined from the game's own data tables. Condensation rates, the star cap and all four rank-up costs were checked against those files; Pal Soul values are not in them, so that figure is what the community publishes and nothing more. Partner skill descriptions are the game's own text, not a rewrite of it, with the numbers inside filled in for the condensation rank you picked. A few end with a line the public data does not include, and those say so rather than being finished from memory.

Genshin ImpactArtifact set calculator

Bonus text is read from the game data via Project Amber. The UID import reads a player's artifacts from Enka.Network, which serves only the Character Showcase someone has chosen to make public in game. Nothing is installed and nothing touches the game client, which is the difference between this and the overlays that get accounts banned. UIDs are used for the one lookup and not stored.

Honkai: Star RailRelic set calculator

Bonus text is read from the game data via Project Amber, with each set's numbers filled in from its own parameters. Affix tables come from Yatta, read across every relic set rather than sampled, because which main stats exist at a rarity varies between sets even though the values do not. The UID import reads a player's relics from Enka.Network — only the Character Showcase they have made public, with nothing installed and nothing stored. Enka does not send a relic's rarity, so it is solved from the main stat value and its level, and any piece where that is ambiguous is flagged rather than assumed. What the best builds wear comes from the Fribbels Star Rail Optimizer, which publishes its leaderboard as a static file. It is the top hundred builds per team composition rather than a cross-section of players — 10,878 builds out of the 206,409 the source counted behind them — so every share is among builds that scored highly, and the eidolon spread is printed beside them because it is the plainest measure of how far that sits from a typical account. Relic set names there are this site's own, so the two halves of that page cannot disagree about what a set is called. Substats and main stats are deliberately NOT read from it: both arrive as bare integer ids with no table beside them, and a guessed mapping would produce targets that look right and are wrong.

Zenless Zone ZeroDrive disc set calculator

Set names and two-piece bonuses are read from Enka.Network's public data store.

Wuthering WavesSonata effect calculator

Sonata effects are read from the echo data via encore.moe. There is no sonata endpoint, so the sets are assembled from the echoes that carry them.

Epic SevenGear calculator

Hero base stats are 6★, max level, awakened — checked against the game's own Journal. From e7-sidekick-resources (MIT), with epic7db.com filling the gaps. The RTA page reads Smilegate's own Hero Analysis API directly. Exclusive Equipment comes from CeciliaBot, which has the equipment's name, its stat and the skill it changes for 134 heroes, with the Fribbels optimiser covering the one it does not and confirming the stat on every one it does. epic7db, which used to be the only source, is now the third opinion: it lists no Exclusive Equipment for Moonlight heroes at all. Where it reads a roll range or a name differently, the row says so. Gear set effects are quoted from Epic Seven's own developer notes where a note exists, and each set records which kind of source it rests on. Hero portraits, class icons and equipment icons are the game's own art, taken from CeciliaBot's asset mirror and copied onto this site's storage rather than linked, because that mirror is a repository with “Temp” in its name. A build itself can be read from the Fribbels optimiser's save file. Epic Seven publishes set names per hero and nothing more — no pieces, no substats — which is why every optimiser is a desktop app with a packet scanner behind it. This site scans nothing and installs nothing; it reads a file you already have, in your own browser, and uploads none of it. That file records each substat's total and how many rolls went into it but never the individual rolls, so the split a piece shows between its opening value and its enhancements is worked back out of the roll tables — every division that adds up gives the same total, so it changes the wording under a substat and no number anywhere. What people run on a hero comes from the Fribbels Hero Library, whose builds are collected through that optimiser's importer rather than submitted, and whose Attack, Health and Defense figures are randomly altered by up to 2% for anonymity. Speed, crit and the two effect stats are not. The target a build is measured against is the middle of the best-geared builds recorded in the last 120 days, which is the same rule for every hero — the plain average is not, because the source returns at most 3,000 builds per hero and so means “the best three thousand” on a popular one and “everybody” on a rare one.

Epic SevenGuild War counters

This one has no source yet, which is the point of the entry. Guild War is the only Epic Seven mode with no published statistics. Smilegate serve Hero Analysis for Real-Time Arena — which is what the RTA page on this site reads, directly and uncopied — and there is no Guild War equivalent behind it. So this page cannot be an arrangement of somebody else's measurements the way every other tool here is. Every Guild War statistic that exists in this game's ecosystem is crowdsourced. The established one, Ark Guild War Tracker, collects it by having members of rank-150-or-higher guilds run a fifteen-minute script that reads the client. Its data is not published under any licence and it offers no API, so it is named here as prior art and is not a source this site draws on. What the page will eventually show is battles recorded by players here. Until there are some, it returns nothing and says why. It deliberately does NOT fall back to the RTA numbers this site already holds: Guild War is three a side with no draft and no bans, and a hero who dies is locked out for the rest of the war. An Arena win rate wearing a Guild War label would not be a partial answer, it would be the answer to a different question.

Black DesertGear score calculator

Pearl Abyss publish no gear table a site can read, and five sources were tried without finding one. So this reads a table filled in by hand, and every row records where its values came from. A piece with no row for the level you picked is left OUT of the total and named underneath it rather than counted as zero. Crystal effects come from bdocodex; adventure log rewards from Black Desert Foundry.

All gamesShowcases and expos

Typed in, every one, and each entry names where its date came from. Nobody publishes a machine-readable calendar of games showcases — not Summer Game Fest, not gamescom, not The Game Awards — so there is no feed to run and none to cite. This page used to be half of a tournament calendar. The other half, esports tournaments, is gone: it never held a single row. The source it was waiting for was Liquipedia's structured API, which was applied for and declined in September 2026 — it is free only for projects that are completely non-commercial, and this one is not, so it would need a business licence, of which only the Enterprise plan is currently sold. Liquipedia also covers five of the seventeen games tracked here and has no wiki for the rest, so even with a key most of that calendar would have been typed by hand, and none of it ever was.

All gamesBeginner guides

Each guide lists its own sources at the foot of the page, with the date they were read. Numbers in a guide come from those pages rather than from memory, and a game with no source good enough to write from has no guide rather than an invented one.

A source that goes stale is a bug here, not a footnote. If a snapshot date on this page has aged badly, the number it feeds has too.
