Jett One-Trick Guide — Aggressive Entry Done Right
How to play Jett in a way your team doesn't hate. Entry fragging with actual game sense.
Why Jett?
Jett is the most mechanically demanding duelist in the game and the most punishing when played selfishly. Played correctly, she creates space that wins rounds. Played wrong, she feeds.
Ability breakdown
Cloudburst (C) — Your setup smoke. Use it to cross exposed ground or block a sightline for 4 seconds. Don't save it.
Updraft (Q) — Vertical mobility. Pre-updraft before a duel so you have the high angle. Don't activate it reactively — you'll be dead before it lands.
Tailwind (E) — Your escape hatch and aggression tool. Use it to dash OUT after taking a kill, not IN to chase a fight you're losing.
Blade Storm (X) — The ult. Left click for accurate single throws, right click to dump all 5 at once. In a 1v1 at range, left click always.
Entry pattern
- Smoke the crossfire you can't clear
- Updraft for a high angle or unexpected peek
- Take the kill
- Dash out before the retake arrives
Common mistake
Using Tailwind to chase kills instead of escaping. The dash has a 12-second cooldown. If you use it to go deeper after a frag, you're dead the moment they have backup.
